Bassins du Havre

The Bassin du Havre is a new housing project developed in Montreal’s Griffintown by Prével. We worked with Humà Design for spatial planning - with the aim to rediscover and reconnect with this once dull, industrial area.

Our first mandate was to create a mural, as easy to install as it is to remove.

Being able to replace, and update the mural was essential to this project, as plans often grow and change in the process of evolution in these condos.

We opted to use a vinyl mural with a suede finish to best meet the requirements imposed for this project. We then made frosted films, highlighting the hottest addresses and places in this bustling neighbourhood. These frosted films were displayed on a table covered with a plexiglass window.

In addition, we designed backlit adhesive films portraying the benefits of this neighbourhood, which highlights the balance between city and nature.
