This is what photographer Patrick Pepin offers, with the launch of his latest Canadian forest-themed collection of large-scale paintings captured in reality-defying high-definition. Bringing the outdoors in urban spaces

A pioneer of digital media in Canada, Patrick Pepin proposed a new technique of capturing and scanning images that guarantee a clear resolution and never-before-seen precision.  Offered exclusively at NumérArt, the high resolution photos of Patrick Pepin’s Canadian forests were inspired by the artists’ interest in transposing country scenery and city life.

« The new devices I use allow me to capture lighting and other textures with such an acute precision, it’s life-like”, explains the photographer. The maximum resolution of these high tech scanners that he uses to create his images allows him to dive to the heart of spaces he immortalized and discover a virtual universe, thanks to a 200 Mega Pixel resolution.
